BE
KIND

Be kind, such simple words to follow, but many students are not living in an environment where they see it to learn to model it.  So it is up to the Teachers to make it a priority to show it and use it as much as possible.   Our children need to be taught how important being kind to each other is.

COURAGE

We all know how important that word is to be able to succeed at something that we want or need to understand.  For some it could be trying something, for the first time, that you are afraid of doing.  Being able to cross that barrier that you never thought you would be able to handle or master.  I recently had a student say, I'll never be able to learn all of those multiplication facts."  "I said no problem, I will help you along the way, and you will build up your courage each time you learn a new fact."  It is taking along time, but I have convinced him that he will accomplish them.

K I N D N E S S

Kindness doesn't cost a penny but its use is priceless.  A kind remark from at least one person a day can  make you feel good.  So spread some KINDNESS around everyday.

R E A D I N G

Letting your students enjoy just reading for fun,  is often put on the back burner,  because of all of the skills they need to have mastered in time for standardized testing.  We want to encourage students to enjoy reading and therefore need to make it as enjoyable as possible.  Make sure to include as much "free reading" as possible.

PARTS  OF
SPEECH

What a unique way to help your students remember the parts of speech.  Now that standardized tests will be coming up in a couple of months, this is a nice study sheet to enhance your student's memory of each speech part.

YOU  ARE  UNIQUE

Each of your students should always feel that they are needed in this world.  That they all have unique special qualities that make them apart of your extraordinary classroom.  Building self-esteem in each child benefits them so much when it comes to learning.
