EVERY  CHILD  IS  A  BEAUTIFUL
FLOWER
How special to have a beautiful garden in your classroom of so many kinds of flowers that make up your students.  Each one brings their own unique personality with their own academic challenges.   You, as Teachers, get to enable your students to develop their academic skills to the best of their ability.  Challenging the ones that need to be and spending sufficient enough time with the students that need some extra one-on-one attention to grasp their skills.   Sit back and watch your garden develop during the school year and know that you did the best possible job you could with each and every student.

EARLY   INTERVENTION

Should I look for help and do something for my child right away if I believe they are having a difficult time in school or wait a bit.   ALWAYS be concerned and want to do everything possible to insure that your child is getting everything to help them with their academic skills.  Often a parent will say oh I wish I would have done that in 1st grade and now the child is in 3rd or 4th grade and they are still struggling.  It is much harder for a 3rd or 4th grader to catch up on their skills then it is for a 1st grader.  They have so many more skills that should have been developed so it is going to take them longer to catch up on all of them.   Always be proactive when it comes to giving your child extra help if they need it.  You want the school environment to be a positive experience for your child.

MARTIN  LUTHER  KING  DAY

Showing and talking to our students about the importance of one man that was able to preach and talk about the importance of believing in something so powerful as Martin Luther King was able to accomplish.  For such humanity to show how everyone is created equally and deserves to be treated as such.   A powerful person which shows how one person can be so instrumental in showing the world why equality is so important.

K I N D N E S S
Instilling in our students how important it is to be KIND, the Teacher needs to be the one who is showing it to their students.  So they see the Teacher be a true model for instilling and talking about being KIND continuously in the school year.  Especially with the onset of BULLYING being so prevalent now.  Being KIND is such a motivational word to help stop BULLYING.  Spread KINDNESS wherever you go.

DREAMS  FOR  YOUR  OWN
CHILD
What beautiful feelings to have for your own child (children) to aspire them to be able to go further in their education, in their employment endeavors, and/or in their everyday goals.  You are their first impressionable people to make them proud of who you are and inspire them to reach goals that perhaps you work on together.

STUDENT'S   SELF-ESTEEM
How special to have a Teacher who has a paper like this located in their room.  Then they actually recite the wonderful sentences to their students several times during the year.  Being able to enhance a child's esteem is such a motivating force when it comes to mastering their academic skills.  The better they feel about themselves it gives them more confidence to keep trying to learn new skills.  Positive talk gives amazing results.

A  NEW  YEAR
2019

A NEW YEAR what a great time to reflect with your students all of the skills and great things you have done so far in the academic calendar.  Encourage discussions about this and make it a priority to "shine the light on them". How proud you are of their accomplishments and then discuss that now that the academic year is half over you are even suppose to strive harder to achieve the upcoming skills and events for the rest of the school year.  Tell them some of them, but then leave them in suspense and say, "I even have some special things planned for the rest of the year that I am going to keep a secret and surprise you once in awhile during the rest of the school year. You are such a lucky class and have so much to look forward to." Make a pledge to make the rest of the school year your "BEST".
