MICKEY MOUSE CAN PUT A
SMILE ON EVERYONE'S FACE
Some students come to school like Mickey and are thrilled to be there and learn.  Others find it hard to go for various reasons.  They have trouble understanding what the teacher is saying, it is hard for them to sit in the chair all day, they don't get along with all of the children it is difficult for them.  Some teachers are so wonderful with these students and go the extra mile to make sure that these students get the help they need and change their feelings toward school.  It is up to the Teacher to have the teaching environment that is going to appeal to these students so they will want to go to school.

May we honor the true spirit of what America stands for especially now when there is such divided opinions appearing daily in our news.  Embrace our students with as much positive words and facts to help guide them in a positive way.  God Bless America!!!!

STRUGGLING   READERS
Everyone has those students in their classrooms that just have difficulty learning to read.  They need to be given plenty of TLC right from the gecko.  The kindergarten teachers need to acknowledge those students and NOT push them on with the rest of the class.  They need to equip them with the correct materials to help them learn the skills right from the beginning that they haven't yet absorbed.  Please if your kindergarten teacher is telling you that your child is struggling then understand YES that could be TRUE but please also make sure that the teacher is giving your child the materials to help them not hinder them.

BLACK  HISTORY  MONTH
Such an important topic to discuss with our students not only during this month but throughout the school year.  Our students need to be taught that everyone is created equally and they all deserve to be treated the same no matter what they look like.  That we should help our fellow man not want to yell at them or to try to physically hurt them.  That we should be taught to know that this behavior will not be tolerated and we should pass this message on.  We should also let them know how brave certain leaders were to stand up for such beliefs and because of them they helped make progress for their fellow men.
