POWER  OF  IMAGINATION

Children have the power of imagination.  Listen to them have imaginary play when they think no one is around.  You hear them conjuring up these amazing stories and this wonderful dialogue between the people they are playing with.  Such free-spirited play with no rules they have the power over how they want the interactions to happen.  Oh what a PERFECT WORLD in the time that they get their imaginary play.

HONORING  OUR  VETERANS

It is important for our students to understand why we celebrate ALL holidays expecially the ones NOT associated with presents.  VETERANS DAY is so important for our students to understand the meaning of it.  That so many people sacrificed their lives so that they can have the freedoms that they have today.  They need to understand the history behind the holiday and that it isn't just A DAY OFF OF SCHOOL.

E M O T I O N S

All the different expressions you get to see daily in the classroom.    Some children seem to have an eager look on their face, others a bewildered look, and maybe some a mixture of both looks.  Some will always greet you with a great big smile and some barely look at you.  The ones that bother me the most are the that look sad all of the time or have a mean look. Put a smile on those particular faces and it seems like such an effort for them to do. The best that you can always do is TRY!!!

YOU  ARE  WORTH  YOUR  EFFORT

What is the poet saying to you???  The struggle and effort you put into something isn't for someone else it is for YOU.  YOU are the person looking back through the glass.  YOU want the pats on the back and the rewards then you have to be willing to have the heartaches, tears, and hard work that goes into rceiving them.  Everyone is that person looking through the glass but YOU will determine what kind of person YOU want to look at!!!!

HAPPY  MOTHER'S  DAY

Motherhood what an awesome title to be a MOTHER.  You get to bring life into this world and watch it develop and grow from your love and nourishment.  It is such a special bond to develop and keep forever.  Just not only for Mother's Day but throughout the whole year.  Acknowledging each other child and mother together and separately.  Have a wonderful day!!!!

OUR  WORLD

What kind of world are we exposing our innocent children too??  We coddle, love, and protect them at home and we want the same for them when we open our doors and let them out into the world.  When we let them go to school each day but then that little mechanism in our brain worries when an emergency news briefing comes on is -- it another shooting at a school???? Is my child going to be brave enough to stand up to that bully on the playground?  Tough enough to get up and wipe away the dirt and say I am better and stronger then what that person did to me.  They should be ashamed and embarrassed about themselves.
